Menggalang Perubahan dengan CTPS: Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dalam Pencegahan Stunting di Kelurahan Naibonat
Abstract
Stimulation of handwashing with soap (HWWS) is very important as a preventive measure in a
comprehensive strategy to combat stunting in children. The incidence of stunting in Naibonat Village is
still concerning with 122 (15.01%) cases in February 2023. The aim of this volunteer project is to
increase knowledge about the importance of HWWS in reducing and suppressing the incidence of
stunting in children. We were able to inform the community and encourage positive habit change by
using an interactive approach and working closely with posyandu cadres and health workers. The
improved HWWS skills of Posyandu cadres had a favorable impact, encouraging the application of these
methods in daily life. Along with community empowerment, the exercise increased general knowledge of
the critical function of HWWS in reducing stunting. Local stakeholders are key to success. Local
stakeholder support is key to the continuation of this change, creating a sustainable positive impact in
Naibonat Village.
