Abstract

Communication on society and between societies are the most important aspects to obtain results
that will have an impact on the effects caused by social relations in society. The study conducted in
Cepaka Village to all trainers in Cepaka Village said that there had never been training on emotional
intelligence conducted in Cepaka Village, so the community had not been able to control themselves
over the stress they felt. The solution offered to the problem is the Emotional Intelligence and
Communication Knowledge program. This empowerment is carried out to find out the knowledge of
emotional intelligence and communication in the community in trainers in Cepaka Village, Kediri,
Tabanan. The meeting consisted of pre-test assessment activities, lectures, video screenings, booklet
distribution and post-test assessments. The result in this program is an increase in the knowledge and
skills of partners in an effort to improve emotional intelligence. The pre-test results have an average score of around 40-50 and the post-test results have increased scores by an average of 70-80, meaning
that there is an increase in knowledge of emotional intelligence in cadres in Cepaka Village.
