PENGARUH MEDIA VIDEO DAN POWER POINT SADARI TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN REMAJA PUTRI DI SMK KESEHATAN AMANAH HUSADA DAN SMK KENDEDES TAHUN 2023

Abstract

The cases of breast cancer in Indonesia in the last five years reached 201,143 cases. With a death incident of 22,430 in 2020.The high incidence of breast cancer is not balanced by the spread of knowledge about it. There is still a lack of knowledge and methods of early detection, especially in women. The research method used in this study is quasi-experimental with a pre and post test two group design. This research design was carried out by comparing two groups given different media, namely SADARI video and SADARI PowerPoint for comparison of research results. The post test was carried out as a benchmark for the intervention given on the same day. There was an increase in the average score of knowledge of adolescent girls about SADARI after being given education through video and a decrease in the average score of knowledge of adolescent girls about SADARI after being given education through powerpoint. There is an effect of providing SADARI Video Media on the level of knowledge of adolescent girls at the SMK Kesehatan Amanah Husada. And there is no effect of SADARI PowerPoint media on the level of knowledge of adolescent girls at SMK Kendedes. There is a difference in the level of knowledge regarding the provision of video media and PowerPoint media with the average knowledge in the video group being higher than the PowerPoint group, so it can be said that providing video educational media is better than providing education through PowerPoint media.
