Pemanfaatan Buku KIA untuk Meningkatkan Pengetahuan Kesehatan Ibu dan Bayi: Studi Cross Sectional di Puskesmas Tampaksiring I

Abstract

Maternal and child health is a benchmark for maternal health. The use of the MCH handbook is a special tip to maintain the health of mothers and children. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the use of the MCH handbook and knowledge of the health of mothers and their babies. This research method is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The independent variable is the use of the MCH handbook, then the dependent variable is knowledge of the mother and baby. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling with a total sample of 62 respondents. The results of the study reported that there was a significant relationship between the use of the MCH handbook and an increase in mother's knowledge about maternal and child health with an OR value of 4.0 and a p value of 0.027 <0.05. The conclusion is that the more mothers use the MCH handbook, the more knowledge mothers have about maternal and child health
