Abstract

Cervical cancer remains a significant global and national health burden among the female population. At the primary health care level, such as the Puskesmas (Community Health Center), the participation rate in early prevention still faces various obstacles, one of which is the lack of public knowledge. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the knowledge level of Women of Childbearing Age (WCA) and cervical cancer prevention behaviors in the working area of Kintamani VI Community Health Center. The research design utilized an analytical observational quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. The study sample involved 120 randomly selected women of childbearing age using a simple random sampling technique. Variable measurements were conducted using a standardized structured questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was performed univariately and bivariately using the Chi-Square Correlation statistical test at a significance level of ($\alpha = 0.05$). The univariate distribution showed that the majority of respondents had a moderate knowledge level (45.8%), and the proportion of cervical cancer prevention behavior fell into the poor category (58.3%). The results of the bivariate cross-tabulation analysis showed a strong positive relationship between the two variables, where the bivariate test yielded a $p\text{-value} = 0.001$ ($p < 0.05$), thus rejecting the null hypothesis. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between the knowledge level of women of childbearing age and cervical cancer prevention behaviors at the Kintamani VI Community Health Center.
