EFEKTIFITAS E-BOOKLET TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN TENTANG IVA TEST PADA WANITA USIA SUBUR DI DESA KAPAL KABUPATEN BADUNG BALI

Abstract

The high mortality from cervical cancer is due to late detection. The screening method recommended by the government at the puskesmas level is the IVA test because it has the advantage of being cheap, practical and does not require a long time. Currently health promotion takes advantage can reach broader targets, one of which is by using e-booklets.The aim is to determine the effectiveness of the e-booklet on increasing WUS knowledge about the IVA test. This research is a quasi-experimental design with pre and post without control designs. The sample in this study were 100 women of childbearing age in Cempaka Baru Village, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. The statistical test used tchi square test to determine the relationship of each characteristic, and used the Wicolxon test to determine the effectiveness of the e-booklet on WUS knowledge. The results of this study stated that there was a significant relationship between age, education level, parity, and work of women of childbearing age with the level of knowledge of women of childbearing age about cervical cancer detection. As well as the effect of providing Health Education with e-booklets on increasing knowledge in women of childbearing age with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.005).
