Abstract

In Indonesia, from year to year cases of men having sex with men (MSM) have experienced a significant
increase. Bali is a province that has a high number of HIV/AIDS cases where Denpasar City is the city with
the highest number of MSM. From the results of the study it was found that even though the use of condoms
had been encouraged, there were still those who did not use condoms during sexual intercourse. Most of
them reasoned that their partners did not like the use of condoms in sexual intercourse. Minimum knowledge of partners regarding the prevention of STIs and HIV/AIDS. Partners, who in this case are the extension of the health workers at the puskesmas, have no idea about the implementation of the prevention program. They do not know what are the dangers of STIs, risk factors, ways of transmission and how to prevent them, including the VCT program. With the Covid-19 pandemic which has been going on for 2 years, there has been a decrease in income from customers which has had an impact on their economy. So they need additional income apart from satisfying customers. This activity has increased the understanding of MSM and the people around them about the importance of preventing STIs and HIV/AIDS. Increasing MSM skills through training for partners in making PPE such as masks, hand sanitizers, face shields. This training was conducted to assist MSM in seeking additional income apart from working at the Kapelata Foundation so
that their economic problems can be helped during the Covid-19 pandemic.
